Yes... after reading so many great reviews about this lens (50mm f/1.8) I figured I could really benefit from the large aperture for indoor use and also the smooth bokeh will look good on portrait shots and flowers. It arrives in my hands tomorrow and I can't wait. The lens was only $74 on Amazon.com. Check it out. The reviews have been mostly good except for the obvious cheap construction of the lens to keep the price low but, most people say it's comparable to the EF 50mm f/1.4 in glass quality and sharpness. I figured I'd get the cheap lens now and if I like it and end up using it a lot... then it breaks... I'll go for the pro model (50mm f/1.4).
